    Hi all,

For all those looking for a backup power supply at a great price, i have finally found someone. I purchased a 300W pure sinewave inverter and a 102ah Excis deep cycle battery for R1 800. Yip, thats right. If i remember correctly the deep cycle battery was R950 and the inverter was R850. The 600w pure sinewave is R1 250. This is while stocks last. I have tested it on my external canisters and works perfectly. I had to put on my own clamps as the terminal points (On battery) were too big for the current rings it came with (The inverter).Contact details are as follows,

    Name: Russel
    Cell: 0722880463
Address: 147, Haig Road, Redhill. Durban North.

So.....Eishkom decided to do what they usually do......not know how to run the country power grid and alas load shedding hit us hard over the weekend. Needless to say i had sleepful nights as my tank was running full force.

Please keep me in mind too if you get the buy together. I am interested. Any chance of a solar rig to the setup?

Guys there is also a deal on Groupon. Someone forwarded me a mail now. I wonder if this will work for the tanks. I have 11 to run.

Groupon one is modified sine wave, not ideal.

    hi all,

So i just thought i would let you know the great service i received today. My battery packed up (Had a dead cell in it), so i phoned him and he informed me to pop in. I took my battery back and he swopped it out with a brand new battery no questions asked. I must admit that was great customer service. I am looking at getting another battery from him once i have the cash.

Hi, dont have the cash yet (and doubt will have it soon) as we (wifey and myself) have been ringing up huge medical bills as she is struggling to fall pregnant after her miscarriage. You right 4 people isnt much as he had a guy there yesterday that took 30 batteries and some other stuff. But he is very reasonably priced and customer service is great.

Hey guys? What about simply using a UPS to run your canister filter, one oxygen pump and maybe some LEDs - isn't that a more viable option especially for a non DiY type like myself, and also in terms of cost?
