Hi Everyone! After 20 years without any fishtanks I received a massive B-day gift!!! 1 x 5 foot, 2 x 4 foot, 1x 3 foot and a bunch of smaller odd sized tanks...

So I'm starting a fishroom!! Not planning to breed again like 20 yrs ago but just enjoy the peace and calmness with a hobby that I TOTALY ADORE!!!!!!!!

So if I'm aloud... i'm asking for some cuttings or extra plants to start some aquascaping.

    Based in East Rand Gauteng.

Looking forward to share some thoughts and ideas....

    Regards

Hello Anram, I noticed things a different these days comparing it to few years back when I also started in the planted tank setups, those days members actually shared of gave willingly , assume it the price of plants etc these days that makes it difficult to share.....

@hviviers75 Yes and its a shame that a hobby like ours turned into money things.... but we grow older and the world wiser they say... I'm just VERY thankfull for those still willing to share....

@Anram, that is from the sand
Should clear but I usually put a small internal filter with some batting in the tank for couple hours and it clears it all up in no time

Tank looks great, why don't you place the heater at the back and hide it next to or behind the wood?
    Just my 2 cents....

Looking good Anram, or you could also get Seachem Clarity it will catch all the small particles and then it will be caught up in the filter floss to be removed easily.... please post pic after tank cleared again.....

Hi Everyone! The front heater is just to help the 500W get up to speed with the fresh water etc. I will do the filter wool polisher and seachem tonight. I got 5 Green Terror Juveniles and 2 African Jewels for this tank....

Any suggestions for this scape and perhaps plants?
