And then my low tech planted, sort of amazon biotope, want to stock it with dark night rams, loads and loads of Cory's, some ottos and I already have some rummy nose tetras, maybe some neon tetras...I just need a stronger light here, looking at some LEDs20191215_112120.jpg

Your first two photos are ok...

Were these taken with the phone vertical or horizontal?
I have had instances where photos taken with the phone held vertically get posted like this

Maybe someone else can throw some more light.... @Zebra Pleco

Busy with some DIY on the brackish tank, had some glass lying around so I built a sump, and an overflow using PVC pipe, just have to get it going now20200125_143124.jpg
I have an old under gravel filter that I'm putting under the media, so it will permanently run there, and with a UPS running the air pump it will keep my sump alive when power is off, there is also an airstone in the aquarium and it runs for more than 4 hours when the power is off.20200127_060701.jpg
This is the siphon from the tank, the elbow on the right (top) only serves as a hanger / bracket. The other elbow is where the pipe gets connected to feed the sump. Havnt made one of these in a while...hope it has a good seal on the joints as if it doesn't I will lose my siphon, it is tricky....works well though.

    Stunning fish!
Do they go into brackish water?

As far as I know they are some of the few that can be true on either end of the scale and still breed and so on. I have also heard that they tend to show a different colour range in brackish? Not sure if that's true or more comes down to the quality of the water and what light it allows through..?

Not sure about the color but yes they do equally well in brackish and fresh water, in the past I have kept them successfully with Mudskippers and Figure 8 pufferfish in brackish setups.
