    Hi All,

So this is me. Had a small (I think 80lt) tank as a child and recently my 2yr old daughter got a few gold fish for a bday present. This got me wanting to get back into the game so to speak...

Invested in a nice 350lt tank now and everything running rather nicely with some Koi Angels, Scissortail Rasboras, Guppies (ofcourse), Platties, Black Widow Tetras, Neons, and Penguin Tetras. I also have two Redtail Sharks in there which, I think, is starting to cause problems... :(

I have quite a few of my fish looking like that. They are perfectly healty, eating, swimming like crazy, and having an absolute blast. No tail rot, no white spot (from what I can see) nudda. The scales almost looks like there is glitter on the fish and depending on the angle you view the fish, you see these glittery marks on them.

Are these actually bite marks, presumably from the sharks? I spent a good few hours watching the sharks already and they don't seem to attack any of the other fish, but they do "charge" and "chase" each other (i.e. the two sharks) very often and I think that sometimes, the other fish gets in the way...

    Will appreciate some feedback.

Hi and welcome to TASA. Yes, those sharks will cause trouble as soon as they start to grow up killing every thing in there path.

They better be done growing!!! Both of them is arround 10cm already :amazed: I'll put something up on the forums and if they don't find a home before the weekend, it's off to the petshop they go. They are definately causing issues.
