Baby brine shrip

Hi All

Quick one, was looking through old posts and couldn't find an answer

When hatching baby brine what are your methods?

I am using on of those small hatcherys you get from the FS (Half a litre I think)

Questions:

How much salt?

How much baking powder (if any)?

How many eggs?

Temp?

I use a two litre bottle, put three desert spoons of rough salt to water

I use a 1 kg Spar margarine tub that I leave in a windowsill. Works great. I put 22 5 ml spoons of aquarium salt into a 5L water bottle. Fill the bottle with tap water and allow the salt to dissolve completely. Then I add about a 1/4 teaspoon of eggs to the margarine container and fill it up with the salt water.2 days later there are plenty of bbs. This usually lasts about 10 days of feedings feeding bs only once a day. When the water level drops, top up with aquarium water and leave it for another day and more bs hatch. This only works once though. After those bs are gone its time to prepare a new tub full
