Congrats Donny! I believe they're not that easy to breed.

What do the adults eat? Maybe buy some spiralina tablets for then... they're compressed powder and I find my guppy fry chowing on it sometimes, so it's not too big.

Apple snails are the easiest things in the world.

let them do whatever in your tank. if you have a tank with lots of leaf matter (apisto type setup) then they will sit in the matter and just eat. they get large quickly. watch that they dont climb out.

as for how long till they hatch. i got no clue, but its not such a long time!

enjoy the little guys and check them grow!

    Thanks Linxie :) :)
They live in a guppy tank and eat the flakes and baby powder we feed the guppy babies.
And will leave them alone to do there own thing. :) :)

We don't feed ours anything - they just scavenge on whatever they can find in the tank.

They start to hatch out after about 3 weeks. Put the egg casing on a piece of styrofoam, and they will be happy with crushed veggie flakes or even your old flakes!
loaches and larger fish will have a go at them...

Mine hatched in about 2 weeks. The egg pod needs to stay in a warm humid place so if the spot where she laid the eggs is ok, leave it there.

The little ones will hatch and drop straight into the water.

If you up the temp in the tank they in they will grow quickly, but you shorten their life span. The colder the water is (above 18 degrees) the longer they will live.

O and they eat anything!! Even the waste of the fish. They work everything through. I put lettuce leaves in for mine and some of the fishes also loves it.
