    Hey guys

My GF got this awesome swop.

Friends of theirs are moving and wanted to get rid of a tank. The had goldfish in the tank and wanted something smaller.
So i gave our spare 2ft and little 1ft tank for them and the gave us a 4ft.

I will prob sell my 3ft and use that money to build a stand for the 4ft and make that a big planted tank instead of the 3ft im running now...

    Soo excited!!!

Here is a pic. Will clean the tank down and take better pics the weekend.

    Tank size: 1200x450x450
    Canopy with lights in...

How thick is the glass on that tank? I see it has braces.

If it's a "standard" 4ft it will be 6mm glass. Quite surprised it has braces.

Im busy getting prices on square tubing for the tank.
The guys with the DIY skills, will 25*25 tubing 1.6mm be fine or do i need to go with a 2mm thickness?

@WillemNicolaas, that isn't by any chance Bret and Sam's tank that you scored?
