    Hi all

Just wondering if I am taking chances here. I am going away this weekend and I haven't organised anyone to feed my fish.
    I have two tanks:
Main Tank is a 65L with 1 Betta, 3 Guppies and 10 Neon Tetra and a couple shrimp hiding in the plants. I have a few plants in the tank and I fed last night. I also dropped half a tomatoe in there.
Shrimp tank is a 16L with 1 female guppy and 1 male guppy fry (about half inch) plus 12 shrimp. It has a couple of stem plants and a bit of moss. I dropped a slice of cucumber in it this morning.

Am I going to get home to a dead fish or two? I will be away from this morning until about midday Sunday.

They should be fine with no feeding. I would take out the tomato and cucumber though as these will foul your water reducing the quality. Fish in the wild dont eat everyday. I have been away as long as a week without feeding and had no issues. I read somewhere that fish can go up to 2 weeks without food.

Thanks. They seem pretty fussy about the cucumber and tomato anyway so I'm giving that to the Parrot... a much more appreciative animal

P.S. The parrot has a home for the weekend. I'm not satan

    I agree.
Your fish will be fine for a weekend without food.

Agree they will be fine but as has been said, remember to take the cucumber and tomato out.. that will foul the water
