August Entries for the Photo of the month Competition

OK.... You asked for it and your wish is our command.... (This is your forum).... It must be noted that.. please.... this type of competition is open to fraud since there are so many beautiful photographs on the internet.... we trust that it will be your OWN work entered..... If anyone is caught out submitting photos captured from the internet... unfortunately... that would be dishonest.. and you'll probably be named & shamed... We rely on your honesty...

This is a trial run... and it will become a regular feature... if it is supported well enough. Not only the quality of the picture will be taken into account, but also the subject of the photograph... so .. even if your photo is not of the best standard... the content there-of might be the breakthrough.... any, anything photographed... may be entered... (Just keep in mind we have some juniors on the forum... )

Enter your photograph in this thread... Entries will be colse on the 15th... when we will go over to voting... and the winner will be announced on the 30th August .... Good luck all.....

 

May I suggest that the photo needs to carry a story and title, failing this we might get random sunset pics and have no clue what it is about - almost like windows login screens.

OK... Each entry will be accompanied by a brief description of what it is that was photographed and what the occasion was.... to allow the viewer full understanding of what the pic is all about....

I took some photos of the first bloomers in my garden.... and this specific rose just appealed to me... so.. I enter her for the August competition....

That's basically all I feed them with some hake and earthworms occasionally

You should see the appetite on my captive bred specimen. Toothless is my wild caught fish

The Story : My mother is a vet, and from time to time she gets some pets that people don't know how to take care of, or are injured, so we heal them up and set them free. The photo above specifically is a Baby Bush baby(Lesser) my mother received that I raised... We called him Yoda.

 

Should have done this long ago... it appears the it will become a regular feature on the forum... keep them coming everyone.... some very interesting ones already....
