Atman filters?

Hey everyone!

I was looking for a tiny little internal powerhead filter and finally settled on this


BUT, there was also an Atman internal filter for half the price (like R49). I took them both apart and scrutinized them, and if anything - the atman seemed better constructed.

I wanted to know if anyone has bought any of their products and what they think of them?

I have not used the atman before but I have one of these that you are showing ( the Elite) not to fond of them because it falls apart as if the is to much ware and tare on the lips that hold it together and I have had mine for a bit more than a year and now I have to use a rubber band to keep it together

I also have the one in the picture in my betta tank in my office and as a back up in my Molly 3ft tank. I've had them for 3 and 6 months respectivley and havnt really had a problem with them. They're quite and efficient. My only gripe is due to its size - when abit clogged up it really drops in performance but cleaning it every 2nd week would sort this out.

Cant comment on the Atman

 

I have issues with the Hagen, its impossible to direct the flow where you want it! Silly outlet design...
