    Ah man. That’s frustrating!

I’m going to try and brush off the cobwebs from when I was breeding them 25 years ago. But I lost a few batches due to various reasons in the early days.

Assuming that you are keeping the water parameters stable and feeding them enough the most likely cause is you… as in your physical presence around the tank. Kribs can be skittish and would rather eat their fry than lose them to a predator.

I would black out the room and leave only the tank lights on when inspecting the tank - so they can’t see you. You can also cover the tank during the daylight hours to avoid the fish seeing you.

Please post a photo of the setup..
Could help to identify the problem.

Do you have a plant pot or similar for the fish to use as a shelter??
A half coconut with an access hole is also often used for Kribs

    Hi @ooxREAPERxoo

I thought I had replied earlier to this but seems I haven't hit post haha.

Firstly. The 2 pairs together itself can be the issue as they probably see each other as a threat and as mentioned above, eat their own eggs. I would try with just one pair.

Secondly. I've seen the pic you just uploaded and it looks like you have less substrate. They love sand and making sand pits which usually helps them stay out of sight, well to them that is.

I would try by first adding a good amount of sand first, then take it from there.

Looking forward to seeing your updates on this tank
