    this is my 300litre tank
it is a custom built tank 1,2mitres long

45 cm wide 50 cm high and i am using a boyu submersible filter with a flow of 750l/h
and elite jet-flow with aflow of 480L/h
I am thinking of getting a external filter but only when i got the money

    fish
    5 female caeruleus malawi's
    and 2 male caeruleus malawi's

    plants
the plants are all fake as i couldn't find any suitable plants for the malaw's that they dont eat
PS.... DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT KIND OF PLANTS CAN GO WITH MALWI'S

    other
white gravel, some rocks and a piece of drift wood

the backround is a foam backround that was attached with silicone glue

Any plant will "go" with Malawis as they are plant eaters.
Plant them and watch them "go":p

@Carping I'm a guy Kathie is my short name as I have a long name. As for plants go for Anubia, Java ferns, Vallis, Amazon swords ect but plant them away from where they like swimming like the left or right to the rear corners. Do the scaping so you get them to play away from the plants cause the will break leaves. Also make a lot of caves for the little ones close to the plants but not big enough for the big ones. Cause the little one need hide away or you loose a lot fast. I used clay pots. Also http://www.tropica.com/default.asp for plant info. Try not have a big flow at the bottom cause little ones wont manage. Get a current in middle of tank so they play in the current, so digging is minimised. This is my 2cents.
