    Good evening,

Does anyone know of somewhere with stock of good quality Arowana? Looking at getting a juvenile silver.

I am based in KZN, Pietermaritzburg.

    no they are not
    why silver?
they get gigantic, all seem to have drop eye, what size tank do you have
try look for a jardini get 50-60cm 0nly (cheap option but highly aggressive)

Hi @top dog, it will be going into a 1000litre. Haven't seen jardini for a long time. Also concerned about the aggression with a couple of Severums and bichir.

    ja sorry
was typing and got a phone call
long term it is too small silver will struggle to turn, they get huge, then all the problems start folding gills, drop eye, jumping. a 70cm 10kg fish that jumps up when it get a fright is a tuff fish to house
asian is first choice but come with a heavy price tag
jardini are great looking, just are dam agro

Some of the Asians are fantastic.
