Are they suppose to do that?

I have to coral blue gouramis in a 60 l,tank mates 3 tiger barbs small,2 leopard danios and three zebra danios, but the smaller Dwarf is suppose to be a female but the male (4 cm) is quiet lively and the female is very small (3 cm) and on her head and back the blue is faded she looks sick to me, would the male or other fish have hurt her.

If in doubt, put the fish into a quarantine tank. Put a small amount of salt in the water and see if the fish recovers... It will be a clear indication of whether the fish is sick or just being bullied...

DS GD, from what I've read, tiger barbs are not good companions for fish with long fins, such as gouramies, as they are fin nippers. It may very well be the tiger barbs that are bullying you gourami? Just a thought...

 

I have to agree with Gaawie on this one.

 

yup I had some tigers in with my gourami's and other fish and they really bullied the gourami's to the point the gourami's hid all the time- tigers in their own tank and the Gourami doin great now

 

but if the tigers were bulling wouldn't they have bullied the male ?
