I need to warn you right now. This video is 1 hour 40 minuts long. Be warned that you will want to watch it to the end. Sharing his knowledge is priceless.

I went through it in 3 sessions. Awesome to get tips like this from a master scaper. Opend my eyes to so much more than just a planted tank.

Awesome video. Totally next level. He’s a great presenter too. I loved the PowerPoint format- gave it structure and lots of visuals to refer too. And not every world champion would be as generous in sharing their secrets, tips and tricks. It really is amazing that we got to watch that for free!

Seeing that last video gave some glipses of one of the masters best scapes in the Sumida Aquarium. 4 part series on the other scapes there

I remember watching that and would also be keen to try at some point. I'm not a big fan of glue in general so have just used very thin fishing line thus far.
That method would work a treat for rounded, organic stones, etc.
    Thanks for sharing!

Yes That technique ought to come in handy for something like this, which I really like.

My brother did a clever thing that was almost like a paludarium/riparium. He got 2 of the Marina hang on back breeder boxes, filled them with a mix of Langa soil and LECA clay balls and used some airline to setup a siphon from a HOB filter into each of the breeder boxes. He planted a Maidens Hair Fern in one of the boxes and an Aluminium Plant in the other, then just used a desk lamp to light everything. Both plants grew incredibly well, and the nutrient levels in his tank were practically zero. It basically acted like a freshwater refugium, and looked great too

How clever! How did he get the water back from the boxes into the tank?
