Aquarium in Pretoria

    When I was a kid I used to get taken to the Aquarium in Pretoria, next to the zoo.

    I have had a look online but can't seem to find it.
    Does it still exist?
    And if so, is it any good?

    TBH no idea. I havent been to Pretoria in years!

    I just know of the one in Cpt obviously. Also havent been in a while but still hear good things.

    The Pretoria Aquarium is alive and well - We visited it last year as a Pretoria aquarium Fanatics day out....I could not go due to unforseen circumstances,but the rest of the guys had a blast...

    Its still around. Its definately improved since I was a child but it was kinda like walking into your local fish shop in the beginning. Its alot nicer when you get to the marine section.

    I agree.
    They had it revamped and now it is great going there.
    I tend to get stuck at the Malawi tank though:cheesy:
    They have a nice shark as well and my youngest just love walking around in circles along with it.:bigsmile:

    I went about 4 years ago, and it still remains one of my favourite public aquaria - yes, I even rate it above uShaka! Simply because it has amazing freshwater displays though :p
