Aquael Unifilter UV as a Upgrade

Hi Gents

I want to upgrade the filtration on y Boyu TL 50 tank.

So in the last chamber where the pump is I want to replace the pump with the Aquael unifilter UV.

Does anyone know this filter

An suggestion/comments welcome

Marine - yeah sure UV is good for general use. Tropical aquarium - maybe for assisting with algae, well some types. Just adding it without a real reason, not convinced - tried UV but I suspect I ended with better growth when I left it off by accident for a few weeks so have not done UV again. If you are running a tank with fish that are prone to getting infections etc then UV sure can help.

as a general upgrade - hmmm - maybe rather invest in some good ceramics and fill the compartments with that as a second stage after the sponge

BTW I have never used any LED UV solution, exposure time and UV type/ intensity is something worth looking into.
