Aquabest or Boyu aquarium

Hi

Can you guys perhaps help me out here please. I would like to determine which tank will be of better quality, the Aquabest or the Boyu.
Reason why is that I am changing setups and want to go for the better brand.
Can you please comment or advice, thanks.

 

Both are Chinese brands, but are decent enough. THe most important aspect is to make sure you have them securely level and flat.

I have an Aquabest 315L corner tank, and had no problems with it, until I cracked the brace moving a piece of wood. Even then, it did not burst even though it was still full. I of course removed half the water as a precaution, and it held the rest back for a good few weeks until I sorted another tank to take the occupants in.

I also looked at the Boyu tanks, and they seemed to be decently enough put together, and I haven't heard any reports of them breaking, so they should also be decent.

To be honest though, if you want a tank to last thats built like a, urm, tank, then I would look and see if you can stretch to a Juwel tank? They are very well made, and look the part too.

Otherwise, swap me your 2m for my corner tank! Hehe!

Thanks for your responds. To tell you the truth, I was playing with that idea to swop our tanks, but i just dont have the perfect corner for your tank. My tank is sort of sold already. the buyer is suppose to collect on Saturday.

But yer, both are decent ish chinese brands, and not as good as juwel, but are half the price new, so its swings and roundabouts! Personally I'd go for a Juwel!

What size tank are you looking for? I've seen a few Juwels on offer lately!

I first need to sort out the switch from the 2m and I will keep that in mind.
You know its not easy going from a big to a small tank, so I am leaning towards a 1,5m.

Hmmm, I'll keep an eye out again, I only saw the smaller Rio's and Trigon's. I'd love a vision 450! Nice tanks!
