@Sean J , @Dirk Bellstedt , @Altum , @Skye01 ,@oscar freak ,and the rest of our tasa family. its good day today my female A.Baenschi emerged this evening from her network of pits and tunnels with her fry,the males hovering around the back ground.after digging pipes the whole day from a serious water leak here at home! this is a good distraction, anyway i thought i would share and hopefully they get raized and we all get a chance to own these awsome fish in the future!,i will try get some pics tomorro im going to charge the digital up tonight my bb camera cant really get them.

    Kind regards
    Murray

i will try but its quite a dark tank ,i have a 7 watt osram eco light in it ,and its a black water tank setup and that doesnt help my photos , im going to try video then cut it in vlc ,but also she pretty secretive and moves the fry from the glass to the pit when i get near ,i dont want to spook her or i will have no fry to take photos of.if i can get it i will but im not risking her getting spooked and eating the fry.maybe she will be more free with them in a couple days,i only saw the an hour or so ago.

AWESOME!!!!! That's brilliant news Murray!! Now at least we can swop pairs to get different genes, and make sure we don't breed brothers and sisters!!

My female has blocked up the pot now. And the second female in the other tank is doing the same now!! So hopefully, there will be 2 spawns!

Anyway, dude, that's brilliant news! Well done bud!

Splendid! LOL! I feel like a mad scientist!!

So, what are you planning on feeding them? I have my Brine Shrimp Hatcheries running, so I got that as well as the Profs foods too. Me thinks they are going to be pretty well fed little buggers!

@firemanmuzz - I also have free swimming fry!!!

Found them tonight. But, in the other tank!!! So, I have 2 spawns of these guys!! I'll get some pics as soon as I see the babies out in the open. They are currently in a patch where they are sheltered by rocks and the driftwood!!! Oh man, after a crap day today, this has helped to lift my spirits!!
