I am busy splitting the sexes to ease catching - WE expect to be very busy this weekend and ever minute is going to count. :)

    I am confused!!!!!!

These look like females (colouration) but the dorsal fin is long like the males and now I do not know????

Any one out there that know more?? Could this all be males?

It's not so easy to sex these guys when they are small... Females will go yellow when in breeding colours. They are one of the more difficult Apisto species to sex until they mature... I guess the best would be to take a bunch and let them pair off as they grow. Which is easy because they are so peaceful.

You are correct!! I am battling but there are fish that show stronger bar's than others and dominant males do not display aggression to them. So I can not guaranty the sexes but will do my best and spend time splitting the possible females :)
