Any other Betta's??

    Is any one keeping other species of Betta's than the normal Betta Splendens and varieties?

    I would LOVE to get hold of some, especially B. macrostoma or its lookalikes. No such luck though :(

    I didn't even know you get betta other than the normal ones - I learn something new each day. @PsyXe - I googled the name you gave and had to catch my breath! What an amazing fish!!! I'm with you on this one, would LOVE to get my hands one one of these! Wow! Wow! and Wow! Maybe we should talk someone into importing them for us!

    i love betta macrostoma and betta unimaculata. Would love to have them but I don`t know where to find! If i am not mistaken betta macrostoma is very expensive.

    Have a look at the latest addition (September/October) of The Fishkeeper, they have a 5 page article on different types of Betta species. I think maybe this is what made ROEKSTE start this thread.

    Have a look here Fishbase Betta species list, 73 different Betta species in total.
