Does anyone have any interesting breeding projects running?

I haven't been able to do anything myself with the pace that life is moving in but thankfully my WCMM are doing it all on heir own.

Just a quick scoop out of the pond! I got about 8 cups like this and popped them in a tub to grow out and create space in the pond for the rest which are surely on the way.

I also noticed a couple of Golden Clouds swimming around which I might separate and start a new colony depending on what comes out of these batches of fry.

I am attempting to breed some Chopra danio. Moving then around a few tanks, leaving them for 4 days and then moving them again. Yet to see any success though.

Wow, what a cool little fish:

I had never seen it before you mentioned it. Good luck, of people I am confident you will have success.

I put the WCMM fry into a grow out tub and some of them are growing at a pace that I cannot explain:

I would really like to get something fun on the go but can't think of what.

Just an update. I gave up on these and decided to shutdown my breeding setup for the winter and to try again in spring, then yesterday i found nine fry. So my breeding setup is running again, and the adult fish are back in a spawning tank.

Think they may prefer cooler temperatures, over summer my tanks were all in the mid 20s, now they are all set to 20 degrees

Looking forward to seeing a picture of a school of these guys. You are going to have to send some to the Cape when you are done.

I have albino cherry barb fry I'm busy raising, as well as gold laser cory and I think I managed to spawn cardinal tetra.

And I'm busy raising a colony of L333 plecos to hopefully breed and will be ordering enough L201 for a colony I wanna try breed as well

I am attempting to build an automated egg scattering species egg harvester. I am on version 2.3 at the moment, managed to get the eggs automatically harvested but now I need to stop the flow from killing the fry. Got 8 fry on my last attempt but within a day or two was down to 2 fry as they get sucked back into the flow and then get hurt and die. The idea is to be able to leave it in an aquarium and harvest dozens of fry before moving the outlet to a different aquarium to start the process again.

I am attempting to breed my pair of Red Turq X Iripixi Discus. I have managed to get to the wriggler stage once , which was there last spawn about a month ago. Its been a bit quiet since then but I do think it has something to do with the cold weather we have been experiencing here in GP. Here are some pics of my pair and my breeding set up. They are a stunning pair and I am hoping to be more successful around spring ....

IMG_0576_Original.JPEG Hi all. I have a beautiful pair of short-body red African Jewel cichlids that have paired up for this winter!
Going to separate fry once some of them become big enough to chow the others, haha.
