    Good day guys,

Im looking for someone that will be able to assist with a giant tank build,

    Either cylindrical or quarter rounded.

The tank itself needs to be 2 meters high +-,

Cylindrical tank needs to be about 1.5 meters in diameter, quarter round tank needs to be 1 meter to 1.5 meters back to front.

Does anyone know who will be able to assist with this?

The place where it is going to go is still under construction, but is almost complete, and would like to get quotes on the tank so long.

Wasn’t sure where to post this topic so I just popped it in here.

Yes I am aware that this is not going to be cheap, like going to the store and buying a tank.

I know the costs involved and everything that goes with it to maintain it.

I can't help with a builder, but just wanted to say it sounds like it will be an epic tank when done.

Yea, it is going to be an epic build. Going to take a few months to complete, we are still stuck between a giant tank or building a concrete wall with a giant pane infront.

Thing is, building a tank is going to be expensive, but easier to connect the filtration thats going to go on it, building a wall with a pane, its going to be a pain in the ass to connect the filtration system.

Yes I am going with acrylic, as this will be in a “chill” area. So lets say we do have a party with drunk people I don’t want them smashing through the glass tank.

I was originally going to suggest contacting two oceans aquarium to ask if they had a contact you could use, but it's the wrong area. But maybe there's an aquarium near you that could help with referring you to a builder?

Someone on here if I remember correctly it was @Nirvashen with a pond for koi with an acrylic or glass front. I'd assume that's going to be a great idea and easier to replicate.

Very curious to know what fish you're going to stock here

this is what we are going after, still deciding between marine or fresh water.

so stocking ideas will come after the decision on freshwater vs marine.

so not sure what it will be stocked with yet.

I did contact a couple of places and just waiting on quotes.

we did decide to go with the cylinder style tank.

volume will be between 3000 and 4000L depending on the final style that is going to be installed.

The Dubai aquarium had something similar to this with a species only yellow lab tank. Let me try to find a pic for you.

    It looked amazing

I highly doubt we will be doing a single sp. I would like different fish from top to bottom, so will need to choose fish that can be housed together as well as wont outgrow the tank.

2 oceans aquarium has a tank like this.
If you don't come right with the people you've contacted so far maybe give them a shout and ask for their supplier.
