    I have a bunch of Jungle Val I can give you - some have abit of algae on it - you will have to sort them or cut leaves off as they grow - pm me it interested...

    Thanks for the reply, when I moved over to the cichlids I tore out aal the grass and its been chilling in my greenhouse for 4 months, a 90L tub full
    DO you want some more?? Hahahaha

    Which form of Vallisneria do you have?

    Is there a standard? Leaves dont twirl or anything 5mm wide, grows about 50-80cm long before I trim it back
    Got a piece from the Univ of Pta watergarden

    That sounds like Vallisneria Spiralis, which contrary to the name does not spiral.
    There are a whole bunch of other varieties as well.

    I am looking for Vallisneria Asiatica, or Corkscrew Vals, which do spiral.
