Another noob...

Hi

I'm Michele. I'm 27 and live in Joostenberg Vlakte, Cape Town. I work as an After-hours Veterinary Receptionist.

Tomorrow (or today, since it's after midnight), I'm off to collect a new tank. It's 166l and will be my first aquarium since giving up fish-keeping 4 years ago.

I've had fish since I was 5 years old and have kept many species (mostly successfully), including various mixed tropicals, oscars, mudskippers, polypterus, spotted puffers and killifish.

I'm really looking forward to having fish again. At one time, I had 13 tanks, but due to lack of space now, I will be limited to just the one.

I'm planning to do a mixed tropical tank and want to keep a couple of my old favorites such as albino corys, white clouds, platies, kuhli loaches and perhaps a pair of kribensis.

Hi @Xandoz, welcome to the forum and glad to see that you have decided to get back into the fish world, looking forward to getting fishy and all of the best with the setup of your new tank. See you suffered from MTS previously and think the one tank is not going to be enough for you in the near future, there is no cure for MTS, sorry, lol
