    Fry and the other parent in the right hand corner, that's why that one is so aggressive

    Discus are very ungainly. Always have a good laugh when mine start fighting, lots of mock charging and fin flaring and very little actual contact.

    African cichlids are a completely different story

    I think it is very wrong of the guy to be taunting the parents when they have babies, it puts them under unneccessary stress. But yes, most cichlids will defend their babies like that!

    You should see our angel pairs when they are defending babies - man can they get aggressive
