    Hi All, my breeding angels are making maintenance in my 3ft impossible. They spawn every 10days or so and they attack hoses, hands, cleaning magnets with such gusto that i'm afraid they going to injure themselves. I would love for them to go to a good home and it is with a sad heart that i'm offering them for R150 for the pair. I'm in MidRand.

    @Aqii,

    Why don't you change your maintenance regime to coincide with lulls in breeding?
    Seems a shame to get rid of these fantastic Angels.

    Thanks Reedfish. Even daily glass cleaning though, the male hits the magnet so hard i'm afraid (to clean the glass) and that hes going to break his nose>

    from my experience,when you take a breeding pair of angels and place them with other angels,they tend to knock the hell out of the other fish.my advice is to put them on their own and allow them to breed .i have had my male angel tear the lips of another angel.not good at all

    eish thats hectik. im very keen on those angels, but don't want to loose the one i currently have. does it matter at all if 1 angel has been in the tank longer than the others? i know with Kribs the older male takes over..

    Hi Ammar, I'll do the swop if you are able to work arround the problem of your existing angel. My pair is just under two years (since purhased as sub-adults).They must be 11-13cm tall (bottom of anal fin to top of dorsal , guestimate). I only want the neons and x-rays though as I want to keep things sparce in the planted tank.

    i will keep them alone in the tank to start with, i have a nice 4foot slight longer and higher than the standard 4 foots.
