Finally happy with this tank, still a work in progress but I am about 90% happy with it.

    Specs:
4ft with built in 3 chamber filtration.
    Pool filter sand substrate.
35W T8 light (soon to be upgraded, LED light experiment starting soon).
Decoration: Various stones I got from Laure (I bought the tank and stand from him) and the local nursery, driftwood and a really kitch Aztec head ornament that I totally dig .
Plants: Assorted Amazon swords and 2 unknowns.
Livestock: 2 angels, 4+1(baby) panda corydora, 6 peppered corydora, 1 clown plec, 1 zigzag eel.
Water parameters: 27°, 6,5pH. Not sure on hardness but I use about 25% RO water in my water changes so shouldnt be too hard, I think PE's water is pretty soft.
    Nitrates: Zip
I dose Seachem ferts and potassium, weekly 20% water changes with a 60% change once a month.
My angels are quite voyeuristic, showing off for the pic.
    Hope y'all enjoy.

Nice tank jedigenie. If those angels turn out to be a pair... you are going to have fun.

Can I ask one question... what is the purpose of you using RO water? Usually in tropical tanks we only use RO water to soften the water, and if you don't know what the hardness of your water is, then you could be potentially causing problems by making the water too soft. From my understanding of how the professor's ferts work, if the water is too soft, the plants don't absorb the nutrients. Maybe check with Laure what the hardness is there in PE before using RO again?

Thaks for the kinds words all.

I forgot to mention that I use Seachem discus buffers in my RO water, not sure if that would affect the nutrient uptake of my plants but I am quite happy with the growth.
