    Youtube video

I took this video this morning with the el cheapo cellphone :blink1:

The black one and the little white one is cleaning the side of the tank endlessly and if any other angel gets close to them they chase them away.
Are they getting ready to spawn?? By about 1min 20sec you can see the little one looks like the stomach is round so I suspect this to be the female. MTS MTS  NOOOOOOO!!

Should I move the two of them to a separate tank?

(AND I know I have to many fish in there. They getting their own tanks over the weekend)

I'm not that experienced with angelfish but when I had my festivums, they did the same thing on a tall piece of driftwood just before they spawned. So I think your angels are going to spawn.

Perhaps you should place them in their own tank but you rather get advice from someone more experienced

They are definitely showing signs of getting ready to spawn and will most likely lay eggs in the next couple of hours. Congrats :D How old are they?

I would not move them now - let them complete the spawning process and just know that the offspring will most likely not survive. If possible let them spawn one more time after this before moving them into their own tank otherwise there is a chance that they will stop spawning for quite a while if you move them now.

I'm really pushed for time today so this is not a detailed response but if you have any other questions I'll try get online again a little later and respond. :)

Ahhhhh I thought I recognised the markings :) They are still quite young then, probably only around 6 months or so isn't it?

Yes they are still very small. I can see on the small one that the tummy is bigger, so I guess it's a female?

Why do they clean the glass and then go and lay on the plant?

I did a water change on Saturday. Looks like it's going crazy by me.
Here is a pic of a second pair of angels that decided to lay some eggs.

    I'm not complaining :blink1:

The stars must be in some kind of correct alignment, (if you beleive in that rubbish) because all our angels seem to be spawning!

    Congrats Ace

Where you getting them from?? I'll vote for Vee. These angels of mine is all from her. They are just over 6 months old and as you can see the pics don't lie :blink1:

I call the small white one, one eye Jack but think it should be one eye Jill now. (One eye is black and the other white)

Didn't see the spawn but I guess the smaller one would be the female.

@ Shaun: Thx I do also hope that they would continue to spawn when I put them to their own tank.

@Linxie: I'm still waiting on Vee to let me know when her Black angels has done the job. I have a thing for double black angels. They look really nice.
