Hi guys got these pictures of another discus forum. The tank is an 8foot stunner. It is still in the setup stage. Just wanted to share.

Stunning tank. IF the filter is big enough to handle the load then ALL GOLD!

Nice clean, simple look which highlight the fish.

The guy who posted this picture and thread on the other forum, is a serious discus keeper with many years of discus keeping. He feels that the tank is big enough for all those discus. I think he has a large sump with some serious filtration.

I think if there was no gravel, it might be fine, but also agree that it might be slightly over crowded. But as you say @dash the guy is obviously a serious Discus keeper, so he obviously gets the growth rate and health, even though its over crowded.

After looking at it again and counting all those fish. It does look a little over stocked. It seems to work for him. Will be interesting to find out his water changes, feeding etc.

And on a more personal point, I prefer blue Discus to red ones.

So who is the owner of this nice setup? Does he have more to share with us?

I dislike this setup, too many Discus not enough greenery or hardscape. I would remove half of those discus so that you could get space to add some scape and plants.

    Hi guys

I dont want to be negative about this tank but.... I agree with swagasaurus. I dont like it either.

I find it a bit amateurish to be honest.
    Too many fish -boring decor.
If it was mine Id remove 70% of the fish, chuck in a ton of driftwood, move the plants to one large grouping somewhere and thats it.

This just looks like a smartie box....

    Rgds

Imagine cleaning up that tank with driftwood and plants all over the place.

30 sterbai cory's should make that job easy....
But you are right Id also not want to have to keep it clean.
