I agree with Jenn, if you look at the aro tank in my previous post, you'll notice lots of vallisneria with that guy.

As for the short carpet/grass type plants they usually need high light, and those that sometimes do grow in lower light, like dwarf sag, grow taller in low light (or so I've heard). The moss I think would work well, and java fern and anubias are well known hardy low light pants.

lol you are very very lucky.. wish i could get away with that with my 3 polypterus.. if it can fit in the mouth, it will be hunted down at night no matter how well fed they are..

i have to say tho, the barbs really do make that tank look good, i'm sure the fact that there is a HUGE predator in the same space as their's really encourages some really good schooling behaviour ;)

    lol

lol its your thread so i think its ok if you the one who chooses to go off track in my opinion, but i suspect that this might copyright thing might become a heated subject in a little while and it may even require its own thread..

having said all of that, i personally dont see any resemblense between the two logo's, besides the fact that its an "M".

I see so many cars with that M logo on the back of their car. I'm going to carry a permanent marker in my car and go write "onsterFishKeeping.com" after it...

Thanks I'm glad I'm not the only one who this pissed of .

So back to the jardini tank after much pondering I think I'll stay away from the plants and jardinis they two have never mixed well with me .im just going to add a few
more mossy pebbles an then leave it .

I'll go get a top up tank thurs or Friday I think a 100l should be fine but in all honesty haven't got a clue on where to get the parts needed for the auto top up ? So any advise will be welcome .

Agreed that this Monster business has seriously peeved me off. One more to the pile of products that I will never support (Fruit and Veg being the other recent one after the whole red list fish debacle). Professionally I must say that I will be amazed if Monster succeed from an entirely legal point of view. They will most likely try and use normal corporate bullying tactics to get the site to comply. Nothing I hate more than a corporate bully and I love it when the smaller guy wins. (Frankies versus Woolworths comes to mind.)

Stormbringer- I really like the tank as is- can't wait to see the result of your next 'upgrades'.
