    Hi all,
I just wanna tell you about the great news... I had a juvenile tank about a month ago and they all paired of. I have 8 F2 wild caught angels, they are pairing of aswell.

My Gold x Gold breeding pair: They layed eggs about 4 weeks ago they come from my juveniles. They are still with the babies:bigsmile:. The babies are 19 days old. P.S its there second time, they layed one batch in the community juvenile tank, nothing survived.

My Gold Marble x Gold Marble breeding pair: They had 7 batches and now stoped breeding for some sort of reason. I sold a few batches before.

My Smokey x Koi breeding pair: Only had 3 batches before. I recently got them.

My Wild F2 x Wild F2 breeding pair: Layed their first batch yesterday. Hope they are sucsessful.:p There's some breeding activity going on with the others aswell...

And I have a black blushing trying to pair off with the gold, but anyway...
I'm probably going to sell a wild breeding pair maybe some of the already existing ones. My Gold Marble babies One Rand coin size for sale to you, if youre intersted, and soon smokeys, golds, and wilds will be availible...

My number is 0844077293 you can call me on weeknights from 6pm - 8pm and on weekends. You could also pm me.

Im going to keep you posted and try to post some pics.

    Regards Jason

Hi jason..congrats on the breeding..jst one small thing i have to point out..i have seen on a few forums that alot of ppl misunderstand the terms n use of words such as wild caught,f1,f2 etc..wild caught refers to fish caught from the wild..also know as f0..f1 refers to the offspring of wild caught..ie first generation offspring bred from wild caughts..f2 would then refer to 2nd generation fry bred from the FIRST GENERATION fry..once f2 breed the fry would then be f3 etc..so that means a person cannot have f1 wild caught fish etc..hope that clears it up..congrats again on the spawn n please post pics of your fish

Don't want to hijack this thread but just want to let you know that my angels laid eggs last night :D and they survived the night so I want to know how long do these eggs take to hatch

Johan the eggs will take 2 days to become wrigglers then a further 5 days to freeswimming stage. CONGRATS!

Should the eggs survive to the wriggler stage just be pre-warned that the parents will move the wrigglers elsewhere in the tank (a number of times). So before you assume that the eggs were eaten, first check the tank to see whether the parents are defending another area. This often happened at home during our first successful spawns where my daughter has thought that the eggs were eaten but they were merely moved by the parents :)

I'll hold all fingers that they survive :D
