So I won the battle with Hair Algae(Yeah!!!), But, the hair algae was simply replaced by Cyano and some other mysterious Algae...

Cyano is fine, I can deal with that, but the mystery algae is what gets to me.
I forms a bright green film on the substrate. Its really annoying and very difficult to remove manually.

Any ideas on what Algae it is and how to combat it?

    Thank you
    Ruan

I had this problem in my Nano when I didn't have any fish in it. I think this may be your cause? I think there may be to little nitrates in the tank. (I THINK.- I could be hugely wrong!)

I read exactly the same thing on another forum 5 minutes ago.

You reckon I should start stocking the tank?

I saw this beautiful Betta Delta tail at one of the LFS for just R30!

    Mmm... Should I or Shouldn't I....

    Endlers? As in Guppies?

My next tank will most definitely be a Guppy tank.
