Algae on Jebo

    A friend of me gave my his Jebo tank +/- 130 litres with al the goodies including tetratec 600 canister ( my first canister )

    There is a lot of algae on the tanks glass, is it glass or plastic???

    how do I get rid of the algae, without scrathing the tank.

    I did manage to get rid of some of the algae, but there is still some left on the glass

    Add water let is soak then use a credit card to scrape it off ... this should not damage the glass / plastic of the tank. I would stay away from solvents and other chemicals - not sure that that will do to your glues or tank trim.

    yea agreed...along with my fish food and bottles etc is an old woolies gift voucher card :p

    best thing for scraping green spot algae

    Thanx, Janine also suggested that we should fill the tank and let the algae soak.
