    I hope Altums don't go the same path ass some of the common angels found today with bad genes, inbreeding and bad husbandry being the norm.

    If you read the article it says they are Peruvian Altums ie P. Scalare not real altums.

    This artical came out of the March/april 2013 Amazonas magazine
    as Henk Said They originally came from the strain called Honey peruvian

    According to the article a breeder Peter Winterling of Pauling Germany had albinos appear in a strain of "Honey Peruvian Altum" in other words, P. scalare of Peruvian origin.
    I guess they are basically albino daltum angels.:embarrest:
