African(Congo) biotope

Thinking of what to do with the tank again,either(most likely) south american but toying with species from the Congo.You dont see too many of those around and im a sucker for oddballs.Anybody has or tried this type?

 

Im also busy with an congo one found african block heads so far.

I've never kept a true Congo-themed tank, but I've always thought they were underrated. Everyone seems to gravitate toward South American setups, so it's refreshing to see something different. Congo species have a unique look and behavior, and there are some real gems that don't get nearly enough attention in the hobby. If you enjoy oddballs, a Congo tank might scratch that itch better than another Amazon-style setup. The only downside is that finding certain species can take a bit more effort, but that just makes the finished tank feel more special.
