Advice: What fish for 60l or less?

My mother in law gave me 2 small tanks since she built a massive pond. One is about 30L and the other about 60L. Any advice about what fish are compatible for those size tanks?

Any advice will be highly appreciated.

How about converting one of them to a planted tank? That's what I did with a small 30l that I dug out of the garage a while ago. I thought of putting some guppies in there once the whole thing stabilizes, but for the time being I am using it as a tank to experiment with various substrates etc. for plants.

Unfortunately the 30l that I am playing around with is also my first venture into planted tanks, so I am not the one to give advice on this. Mine is a low-tech tank with potting soil for substrate and I am running it purely for experimentation at this stage, no fishes atm.

However, for this size tank it would make sense (read:cost-effective) to get some of that fancy ADA or Fluorite soils if you don't feel like tinkering. You could then also look into adding C02, either proper or DIY.
