How about getting some Anubias and tying it on like this? Mine is attaching really well.

Looks really nice.. do u just strap it on or does the super glue trick work with this as well? i was looking at this month tank of the month winner, i like those star shaped plants under the driftwood. no idea what they are tho

I use cotton to tie them on. You can also use an elastic band. Both of these will break down after a period of time by which time they should be "rooted". Don't use superglue as it's a bit of a nasty product.

Ask Ivan about the Dorry TOTM...

By big do you mean volume of plant or height. What you can see there are 2 different types of Anubias. They spread as they attach so yes, they are getting denser...

No. They are quoted as being slow growers. Very undemanding and lovely looking. Not sure what happens when you apply CO2 and bright lights.

Post a closer pic of the "attached" plant so we can ID it for you. Good luck with the wood and when in doubt, slack on your maintenance and it will grow full of algae :blink1:

my 2 zim dollars - or attach java fern/moss of some sort. The java ferns (any sort) are horribly underrated imo - they look fab, are easy to grow and if given a little time, form fabulous feature plants.
