Ditto. Irrigation, Waste Water Plumbing (40mm pvc pipe), and swimming pool plumbing. Never had to look anywhere else for anything I needed.

Methods to avoid a possible flooding when using a vertical flow system?

 

Hi. Basically there is 2 things you need to adress to avoid flooding. First is pump failure. For this you need to leave enough room in the sump for the back flow from the display tank. You can test this by simply switching the pump off and check the water volume flowing back into the sump. Secondly is a overflow failure. For this you need to calculate the pump chamber's volume in the sump and make sure that volume will still go into the display tank without it flooding. Also make sure you buy a pump with dry run protection so you don't burn the return pump when the pump run dry.
