Advice needed

Good afternoon everyone i need some advice please. My aquarium is a custom built aquarium i build myself its 600x650x1500 and i have it full of anubia barteri and java ferns

I only have one old submersible light in there and want more light in there to get my plants to grow better

and because its a tenk i build myself i cant place a light in the centre of the tank because that is where my lids doors are

But everyone i asked (that has more money than me keep telling me to get either the (DEEBOW) or (ZETLIGHT)

QUESTION (1); do i really need such an expensive light
QUESTION (2) ; will it work if i place 2 x submersible (16w) led lights in
QUESTION (3) what kind of light do i need? (Color changing.)(three color/blue.red.green)(white)(blue/white)

Please help .i dont understand this

 

Both those plants are "low light", especially the Anubias. Have you considered maybe doing some DIY to use those 20W LED flood lights? I am sure that will work 100% and will not break the bank.

 

Thats what i thought also maybe doing my own light

 

I know quite a few people do their own DIY lighting using those flood lights so shouldn't be an issue. You can maybe also get blue and red led strips from a local lighting store if you want to add those spectrums but far as I know those floodlights are ok for low maintenance plants so that would be more of an aesthetic thing

 

Chihiros is also a good lighting option, but not cheap and unless you want to go high tech on the tank not really worth it.

When i started my tank out, I ran a cheap and nasty white LED light (R150 for a 45cm) and my low light plats were happy, and medium tech was staying alive but not really thriving.

O would either just go white light all around or got stips of blue, green and red.
