ADD TO JAGUAR CICHLID DIET

So my 20cm is now sharing his tanks only with a pleco so his diet is mostly of hakari sinking pellets, he is a fussy eater LOL. Trying to give frozen brime shrimp and other pellets but no luck just need some help on what i can try to give him or try to add to his diet. did do some more reading on them and diet to see what i can try. did see a lot say to add live food but i know it can be risky. Run small tank with live bait and do it like that ( girlfriends tank ) hehe. but open to options.

treats i have used for my cichlids
sardine, muscle, shrimp, calamari, talapia, pangasuis, blood worms, krill, earthworms, flying ants and crickets
have some that will take what ever i put in the water and have a few that only eat one type of pellet.
feeder fish is a slippery slope cause it is expensive and fish can become addicted to live food and not want to eat anything else

 

Ya will try some of the above that u have mention do u cut they up and do u used certain products from the local supermarket.

 

oh sorry do u give it frozen or what?

 

try get stuff that is not cooked or blanched
I chop it up too a decent mouth full size
defrost it first, for the first time you try i would starve him for a week.
