Yep, that was my experience as well. Started with 10 and 2 months later couldn't count them all.

That's why I don't understand how some people can charge so much for them. Ludicrous.

Anyone know what this plant is? It grew from a tiny sprig in the driftwood and is now at a sizable little bushel.

Stunning - try a some black cardboard that you can get from checkers or CNA as a clip on backdrop or even blue cellophane.

Thanks Ferdie. Ya I have been contemplating a backing for the tank for some time...but unsure if its going to mess with the overall appearance or not...the back wall is a neutral colour so it hasnt been an issue as such.

Thanks Maria. You can do a tank like in my case, where it is focused on building the shrimp numbers, but still have fish in the tank that wont eat the baby shrimps. :)

Did a water change and a little trim of some of the plants that were getting out of hand...

Update after 2 months...the tank has really filled out with plants and is in need of a trimming...Red Cherry Shrimp population has exploded in numbers with almost no surface untouched by their little legs. :p

Did a little clearing out of the central pathway between the "trees" this afternoon...starting to look less overgrown.

Thanks Ryno...yes the Pinnatifida is out of place on the left there...but it's not a permanent fixture of the tank. I got 2 emersed stems from Matt and placed them in this tank to grow out. It was just the only spot in the tank I could put them ...once they have grown in number a bit i will transfer them to my other tanks. :D
also love it...had been looking for some for ages as it really is a great looking plant in scapes I have seen.
