    Good day.

I am a new member here and I am a beginner fish keeper. I started to keep fish about 2 months ago and I still need to learn a lot .

I need some help to get the chaos sorted in my tank.
I've currently got a 310 litre (82 gallons US) tank and I've got the following fish in the tank.
    2 x Pearl gouramies
    2 x Golden gouramies
    2 x REd dwarf gouramies
    2 x Gosby gouramies
    1 x Golden leopard pleco
    1 x Common pleco
    1 x Platty
    2 x Cherry barbs
3 x Neons (use to be 14 but most got eaten by the angels)
    4 x Angels

I think this is a disaster to happen between the spesies.

Welcome to the wet nut house mate.... Not to much of a disaster there - the Cosby and Golden Gouramis will get a bit agressive as they mature and your Dwarfs may suffer.... the Neons and maybe even the Cherries will dissapear as the Angels get bigger + your Plecs will grow HUGE - maybe replace them now already with some Bristle nose Ancistrus cats - looks simmiliar, but only grows to round 12cm,not 40cm + like your current dudes

    Hi & Welcome

Don't worry we all have to start somewhere, and I think you have chosen the right place to come and learn... Enjoy the forum.

The only thing that I have to add to what @azurekoi said is that if you have the dwarf Gourami's there is a possibility that you have purchased 2 males and they will land up fighting and bullying each other. I would suggest that you try and swop 1 of the males out to your LFS and get something else in it's place.

    Hi and Welcome,

    I agree with azerurekoi.
There could be some problems with the Gouramis at a later stage.
Also, the Plecs will get huge.

Angels are one of my faves. Any chance of some photos?

I've been watching the gouramis after I've done a lot of reading and sometimes I've seen that the Gosbys and the gold gouramis will bully each other for a few seconds and when the other gourami turns around and bully back they stop. I've got enough hiding places for the gouramis, so I hope it is going to help a little.

A word of warning... I have an adult male Golden and believe me even with all the hiding spaces in the world, no one in my tank is safe from his chasing and biting....:sad2:

My female Gosby gourami use to bully anny fish in the tank and when I got her a boyfriend shebecame better. The Gosby gourami is now the one that sometimes bully the female and other fish. He is about 2cm smaller than the female.
