    Hi to all members.

Tasa being an open public forum makes it consist of a vast array of unique individuals, each with their own opinion and personality. Being such it is just normal for some to get along better with others, and for some to feel they are having their toes stepped upon by older, more vintage members. It is however a very difficult environment to manage and moderate, with some individuals expecting an altogether different structure for the forum to operate from.

Of late it seems as if too many threads start out perfectly well and soon end up in a fight and avoidable negative argumenting. Of course the administration of the forum consider constructive arguments usefull and also essential to the development of the forum, as well as a starting place for new ideas and *standards within the hobby.
It is however plain ridiculous to argument opinions on the "its what I have done for years" principle. Keeping guppys with Oscars is a no-go, no matter how long you or your girlfriends father has done it. Some things are not negotiable, and its from these type of comments which arguments seem to erupt.

So, as moderators we request that all members who take part in discussions please avoid these silly arguments, familiarize yourself with the topics discussed before blatant stupid comments are made. It just sets up threads for erupting into what would need moderation eventually.

As of late it has also happened that certain members deem it nescessary for themselves to act as moderators, commenting on ongoing threads about their own percieved need for the thread to be moderated. This is not nescessary thank you, and the same goes for sponsors. If you feel that certain things need addressing, please send a PM to one of the moderators who will take it up for consideration at their earliest convenience. TASA is run and moderated on the guidelines of its Administrator who ultimately has the right to decide the rules and regulations. Some members may feel that it's run too strictly along these rules, and others again might feel there should be stricter control. However, it is run the way it is and it is just not possible to try and be accomodating to each members various needs. It is after all a public forum, not a personnel one.

I want to also ask members to familiarize themselves with the forum rules and regulations. It is just crazy that these rules are not adhered to and when the member gets moderated they use the "I didnt know" excuse. It is the responsibility of each forum member to ensure he is aware of the rules and regulations. *

    Thank you guys.
