A good place for plants in Joburg?

Hi there

So my girlfriend and I have recently started a little tank (I'm not sure on the specifications...) Now she knows all about cichlids and the plants they need and such but she just recently relocated from Druban to Joburg and well isn't sure where good places to get things for the hobby are. Seeing as Im relatively new at all this, I can't really say I'm much help either. Can someone maybe please point us in the right direction as to where a good place or two for the various resources might be? Oh we're especially looking for a good plant place (that's why I put it in this forum, hope it's right!)

Firstly welcome to the forum.

There are VERY few "good" placed to purchase aquatic plants. Generally speaking you can get from most LPS that carry fish, however you may need to visit a few shops to get variety. Members are not allowed to mention any names of anywhere to get plants, as the forum is sponsored.

You may however find Jungle Aquatics (Sponsor here too) very helpful with plants.

Otherwise keep watching the forum, there are many members who often sell clippings and excess plants.
