That is looking FANTASTIC!! Really nice job dude! Well done.

Those little apistos look like Agassizi's? You sure they are cockatoos?

The moss is Java Moss. It attaches itself to things like Driftwood, clay pots, coconut shells, rocks and stuff. If you put it behind something like that mesh, it will eventually grow through the mesh and create a "grassy wall". It is beautiful to see a full java wall. Really something special.

Mongwopman, what details would you like?

Thanks Slagter... not sure that's even possible :p , the mother and father are definitely Cacatuoides.

They look so much redder in the pics than cacatuoides though... Hectic. They are beautiful. You want to sell a pair when they are bigger? I'd pay whatever for them!!

    Thanks for that Slagter!

I went with Christmas moss for the wall as the Java moss goes a little too bushy.

Christmas moss is nice too!! I have a nice big bunch in my one tank. It doesn't do too well at higher temps though.

I thought that was strange, there is very little red in the breeding pair... i would put this down to either the camera or the BBS they live on. Yep, i will need to get rid of some. Veegal has dibs though... any day now Vee

They have some growing to do... there are three sets of fry in the tank at the moment.
2 or 3 individuals the first spawn (These are the bigger one's in the pics) and then spawn 2 and 3.

Spawn 3 was actually stolen by 1 & 2's mommy from the other female...

I've heard that apistos often steal spawns from other females. Trifasciata are known to do it regularly.
