    Hi All,

    Got a 180*(Half moon), 6.5" Steel 16Gauge rear fender for a bobber/chopper.
It is unused and in mint condition. Its polished steel.

This is an imported part and can work on any HD, Metric or custom bike.
Its cost me a pretty penny but i cant use it since i needed a 7'5" which i have imported already.

Trying to make some money back from this.

    R1000 Cash. JHB

    Hi Guys,

Lol yes it is bike stuff and not related to fish in any way.
Will get some pics up soon, unfortunately i have had to let a bud of mine take over the project for me as its been a good 2 years already and progress vs time has been at the most unimpressive.
So he will build it up for me under my guidance.

@Michael11, What bike do you have in mind? Style... Once i know that i can share some info.

A nice softail frame as im a sucker for them and ride one myself. With bobber style back fender and very simple look. Very much like that of an exile made chopper. When it comes to front end I like both the look of a 21inch or a 16inch with a nice fat tyre. Id first just like to see some frames and decide from there. What style are you going for and harley or s&s engine ?

Sounds good. I like softail too for the ride and look but still rigid look so minimal.
Seen those Exile choppers, they are "OK", saw one being built @ the Wrench and it was super costly for what it was.

The frame really depends on what motor you want to fit in it and also if you want a raked frame or happy to cut it up and make it raked.
Again this completely relies on budget too, is this a 50K bike or a 250k bike?

I think for a cheaper build you could go with a Honda Steed 600 frame, its a softail and pretty small. Ive seen some wild vlx bobbers.
Im a fan of HD, tbh i would rather do a metric motor than a S&S i personally don't like the look of them; but that's my 2c

i really like metric bobbers, its easy and fairly common to see a 883/48 bobber or even a bobbed fatboy but you dont see metrics done as people think they not worth working on.
I have seen far more metric bobbers i would own in a heartbeat than almost any hd bobber.

Silly question, what do you mean by metric bobber? One made with german and italian parts?

If so i agree fully,BMW bobbers are way cooler than some American apehanger. My dream projects are a BMW R90 bobber and a Moto Guzzi cafe racer. But i first have to do the study thing and get that over:suspicious:

Anyway sorry for hogging the thread, just fun to hear fishy people talking about bikes aswell.

Im also doing the studying thing. But to me im a HD guy all the way. Nit a big fan of metric bobbers. Like the look of the v twin. Fills the frame out nice. Had a Night train that was getting converted but ended up selling it before.

@Courtney99 Metric bikes are alternatives to HD's. HD use Imperial nuts and bolts while Honda's, Yamas are all Metrics as they use metric hardware :)
I had a bud who built a R90 Cafe Racer, was really good looking.

Yeah i love HD aswell, huge collector of their stuff. Lol have a HD Couch :)
But tbh you need to do some research on metrics bud, they really are just that much more beautiful when custom; ps there are plenty metric Vtwins.
The old Knuckleheads, pan heads are just brilliant but the cost to get them in good condition is just too much.
