    Hi

    I want R3000

The tank is in very good condition besides the base being cracked, to be honest I'm not sure why the base has cracked, Im assuming when I moved the rocks around 3 days ago, one of the rocks stumbled onto the bear glass.

    I stay in Buccleuch sandton.

The tank can be repaired by TDS Aquariums for R690, i recieved this quote yesterday.Guys the tank alone costs over R3000 rand. This is a bargain

    No Problem JesseG

Just to inform there is a major price difference between 6mm and 10mm glass. The tank is 1.5x60x60 ,its euro braced and it has a corner overflow. If you want, please phone a reputable tank builder and provide the price he quoted you.

basically, the point of my earlier post where i criticised Tropicalboy's price, was to tell him that the second hand market for tanks is terrible and he probably won't get the price that he is looking for, as most people perfer the DIY way, i apologise for going about this the wrong way...

Just remember there is a difference between a cabinet + hood and a metal stand.

You make a very good point there Slagter.

The tank for sale is 10mm. JesseG's is 6mm. Jesse... I would decomission that tank tomorrow. As Slagter has said... 6mm glass over a 1.5m span... you might land up swimming through your lounge.
