400l Planted Tank

This thread has been a long time coming...

It's a 1.2m x 450mm x 800mm Tall.

Filtration is an Atman external Canister (1000L/h) and a Cascade 1500 (1500L/h)
1 x 700L/h powerhead

Lighting - 2x 150watt 6500K lights

Co2 injection at about 3 bubbles per second

Dosing - Flourish and about to start dosing EI.

Plants:

Crypt Wendtii
Crypt sp Green
Rotala Macrandra
Ludwigia repens
Ludwigia Repens (red)
Lymnophilia Sessifolia
Java Fern
Java Moss
Hygro or Hydro species and 1 or 2 more that I can't remember the names of...

Fish:

7x Rummies
2x Ottos (looking for more)
1x Cherry barb (hitched a ride in a plant bag from Hillfox)
5x Bronze Cories
2x Corydoras Palateus
4x Bolivian Rams

There is still quite alot of work to do on this tank. I'll remove some of the faster growing plants as I get my wish list plants in. I'll remove the lymnophelia once my Ammania Gracilis arrives.

I want a planted setup aswell but think a 2ft for me...
know nothing about plants

 

Neither did I up until about 6 months ago... It's very rewarding. I never knew that plants would be as addictive as fish.

 

Looks good, fish are easy to keep alive when you get plants to grow and flourish .... then you have something to be proud of your tank looks good

Thanks guys... I did a bit of a rescape today. I got a couple of new plants. I got my DOWNOI!!! Just 1 piece, but I will try and propagate it. I got some Really nice thin Vallis. Very nice plant. I got some Echinodorus Quadricostatus, Glosso, Stellata and some Lymnophelia Aromatia. Great plants. I'll take more pics once they have settled in...

I also bought another tank... 1.5m L x 650mm W x 500mm h... It's a beeeeeg one...
