Dude, I'd be chuffed if even 1 or 2 survive. To date I've managed to successfully breed Guppies and Dwarf Gourami. I would really like to add Angels, GBRs and Corydoras to that list.

    Hehe I know the feeling.
I also have a angel pair that should spawn in the next week or so, and hopefully the eggs make it this time.

Angels are easy. In the process I only lost 3 fry. Just make sure you feed them well with bbs, but rinse bbs with fresh water before adding it to the tank. I accidentally raised the fry tank's salinity to such an extent that I can taste it... But it didn't cause any problems. Also, vacuum the dead bbs from the bottom of the tank every day (use bare bottom).

I haven't had any eggs hatch yet, but if I can hatch them I can and will raise them on Prima.

How soon can I feed them BS @Razer2007? I put BS in their 12l tank last night but they are almost the same size . I also gave them Liquifry No1 and I have powdered baby fry food.

I fed them on the first day of free swimming but you need to feed the bbs as soon as they hatch - they grow fast and their nutritional value decrease but the hour.

You CAN feed other foods but bbs is the best and they will grow like teenage boys on it. Watch their bellies go orange of the oils in the bbs to see if they eat. Don't overfeed. You will see how they hunt the bbs if it's small enough to eat.

@Razer2007 - Did you keep them in a small tank for feeding?

The tank is only 12l but the internal filter is causing quite a stir which I will try and slow down tonight.

I kept them in a 1ft - +/- 30L. Had a very small HOB. switch off the filter before feeding. And remember that angels don't like too much current. If they have to swim 'against' it, it's too strong.

Wow.. dude that is ... wait for it... a TANKFUL.

    I think it's funny..

But damn... I feel so proud but it's you who should be. You raised them and are keeping them so healthy. I'm glad I gave them to you.

Only bad situation here is that they are all siblings and one should try to breed out, not in. But it's still nice.. The male comes from a strain which isn't really inbred so I assume the gene pool will be strong.

I will see what happens with these batches of fry. Maybe I can swop some of them for new blood. I still have the lonely male that is desperate for a mate.

So my fry dissapeared completely in the 12l. No bodies...nothing...very wierd!

Here is a pic of the state of my 300l tank. Busy changing/cutting/dealing with it as I get time and when my fish aren't trying to breed! Go easy on the crit...
